Breakfast Beauty: Edible Flower Crepes

These edible flower crepes are perfect for bridal showers, holiday brunches or just another beautiful Sunday morning. The color combos are inspirational and endless, plus the flavor is just as unique!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups whole milk
4 large eggs
1 cup flour
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar
edible flowers of choice (go organic: buy HERE)

Directions

Blend the milk, eggs, flour, butter, salt, lemon juice and sugar in a blender until foamy, then chill for at least 30 minutes.

Butter a nonstick skillet and ladle in 1/4 cup of the crepe batter.

Swirl the batter until it coats the bottom of the pan in one thin layer.

Place your organic edible flower onto the crepe as it cooks.

Cook for 2-3 minutes then loosen the edges with a spatula and flip onto the flowered side.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes and then remove the crepe from the pan.

Top your beautiful crepes with fruit, a dusting of powdered sugar or even Nutella.
