Easter Is Right Around The Corner

Easter is such a fun time of the year, especially for the little ones. They love getting candy in their baskets, doing Easter egg hunts and putting carrots out for the Easter bunny. With Easter comes tradition and lots of family bonding time!

Easter day and even the day before Easter the fun begins. I remember when I was younger having an Easter egg hunt was what we always waited anxiously for. My parents would hide eggs, this can be done indoors or outdoors, and would use the plastic eggs or the Cadbury eggs. In the plastic ones they usually put mini Cadbury eggs, money, or other assorted candies like jelly beans.

My sister and I would wait inside and they would hide the eggs about 12 outside in our front and backyard. When they said go, it would be a race to see who got the most eggs. This can be tricky because sometimes one person may get a lot of eggs and the other may get only a few. So to make it even the rule was to always put them together and split them at the end. You can make all sorts of rules, but this is always the easiest especially when you have sibling rivalrys.

It’s also fun to get friends involved and other families. We always did more than one egg hunt and had friends come over and join in on the fun! There are so many ways to get creative with your friends and family during Easter and having an Easter Egg hunt has to be our favorite! Check out the video above for more tips and tricks!
