Getting #BackOnTrack With Fitness When You’re A Parent

Finding Your Passion

Meet Catherine, she’s 34 years old and is a hard working mom. Her and her family live in Milton Keynes where they used to love being active. Their majority of their day used to be packed with fun activities that kept them active all day long. However, after she had her daughter around a year ago, things started to change.

“When I weigh up the options of going to the gym or going out and socialising with some friends, I’d rather put the money towards a drink or money towards some social time, to go and see them all or something instead of paying for a gym membership,” she says.

Catherine noticed that her priorities had shifted since her daughters arrival. She has focused more time and attention on being social then working out at the gym. Lets face it, as a new mom we want to spend all the time we can with friends when we get the chance, but Catherine noticed all those nights out was hurting not only her bank account, but her health as well.

So what Catherine decide to do was #GetBackOnTrack. She knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but she knew it was going to be worth it and she wants to be able to set a good example for her daughter. So she began with focusing on the things she is passionate about like yoga. Before she used to love going to yoga classes and working out daily so she decided to get back into it and invite her friends along for the ride helping her find the perfect balance between being fit and being social….check out more of Catherine’s inspirational story in the video above and find out how you can get back on track with some of these tips below:
