Celebrity hairstylist Christine Symonds shows you step-by-step how it’s done.
Here’s How to Master The Look
Step 1: Create a deep side part starting from the arch of your eyebrow. Hint: use your comb as a guide.
Step 2: Create waves using a 1-inch curling iron. Straighten the ends by pulling them through the clamp as you release each section.
Step 3: Spray dry shampoo from your roots to mid-shaft to add lift.
Step 4: Tease your roots on the fuller side of your part to even create more volume.
Step 5: On the other side, start french braiding at your hairline, working towards your ear. Continue to french braid to just behind your ear.
Step 6: Switch to a regular braid and secure the end horizontally with pins at the back of your head.
Step 7: Pull at the sides of the braid to make it appear wider. Then set the whole look with hairspray.
