A Mom’s Guide to Better Beauty!

As you all know, once you have children, the time you have to work on your beauty routine is drastically reduced.  Therefore, it is so important that we find a few products that work really well!  The following are a few of my go-to items you can use to help keep a fresh face in a short amount of time.

Sunscreen
putyourbestfootforward4 Whether you use a daily sunscreen or a lotion that contains SPF, this is one of the best ways to prevent your skin from aging. Now that the weather will be warming up and the sun shining longer during the day, this is an important first step to your beauty routine each day.  My favorite sunscreen is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen, which has an SPF of 100+.  For a daily moisturizer with sunscreen, I use Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50

Face Buffer
putyourbestfootforward1 I really love the Clarisonic cleansing brush.  In just 2 minutes, the brush removes all of the dead skin cells from your face and neck, leaving your skin nice and soft.   You only need to use it once or twice a week and can use it in the shower.

Mascara
putyourbestfootforward2 Mascara is one of those products that really brightens up your whole face, not just your eyes. Your eyes are the windows to your soul so why not highlight them!

Dry Shampoo
putyourbestfootforward3 Getting more than a three minute shower is sometimes impossible when you have small children.  If this happens, just use a bit of dry shampoo in the morning before styling your hair.  This is a big time saver!

When you look good, you feel good! Putting your best face forward will have you feeling more confident in no time!
