The Springs’ Perfect Summer Cocktails

Okay, so it’s not Summer just yet, but who cares? Consider this a pre-emptive plan for when Summer rolls around. When it does, you should go visit the Springs in Brooklyn, New York. It’s a homey little bar with a beach-y theme, not to mention a whole lot of inflatable flamingos. Like, seriously, this place is at least 60% floating flamingos.

To go along with the flamingo onslaught, there’s a whole line of delicious cocktails served at The Springs. Some of their favorites include the Scooby Snack (named for its color, don’t give it to dogs), the citrus-y Aperol Spritzer, the bright-white Desert Spring, the kickin’ Mojave Mule, and the bright blue Sunburn (which kind of looks like that weird blue sunblock your mom used to put on you at the beach). They’ve got food, too, with homemade guac and eggplant rotini sticks.

Once the cold season’s past and the sun starts shining again, swing by The Springs if you’re in the neighborhood. Just don’t look the flamingos in the eye.
