There is a lot we can do in 2018 that keeps us looking younger. We have perfected a lot of products that help to fight the signs of aging. However, we still haven’t quite found that fountain of youth. Until we do, there are a number of habits you might have that are prematurely aging your skin!

1. Smoking
Smoking cigarettes is one of the worst things you can do for your skin. It takes away from your natural color, and moisture. Your lips are more likely to wrinkle faster when inhaling nicotine and tobacco products.

2. Tanning
Being tan might look good in the moment, but it actually causes us to wrinkle more quickly. If you’re just dying to look tan, but still want to remain youthful looking, it’s a lot healthier to just go with a fake tan instead.

3. Alcohol
Drinking too much alcohol damages the blood vessels in the surface of your skin, making you look older.

4. Sugar
Eating too much sugar weakens the surface of the skin, which can create the appearance of lines.

5. Wrinkly Pillow Cases
That’s right, a wrinkly pillow case can lead to a wrinkly face. It’s actually a good idea to get silk pillow cases instead. It’s better for your skin and your hair.
