Beyoncé And Jay-Z Surprise Fans (Again)

Bella Breakdown

Beyoncé is the queen in many ways. We admire her vocal power, her dance moves, her ability to be a celebrity working mom. But she’s also the queen of dropping surprise albums.

Her and Jay-Z released Everything is Love under the artist name “The Carters” as a surprise joint project. This follows the tour that they hold together, On The Run 2, which started on June 6th and will run through October 8th.

Fans were surprised the power couple would do a second joint tour with no new content, but of course, the album dropped on June 16th, and was reportedly completed only hours before its release. The iconic album cover shows the Beyoncé and Jay-Z in the famous french museum The Louvre, which they rented out in order to do a photo and video shoot.

So what’s the vibe of Everything is Love? If you’re thinking it would be a peaceful, nurturing, and melodic soundtrack, you’d be wrong. It’s a completion of the trilogy of the hardships of the couple’s struggles since 2016’s Lemonade, and it goes hard and even gets raunchy at points. What better way to air out relationship drama than writing an entire album about it (*cough cough* Taylor Swift) and making a ton of money from your struggles?

Everything is Love is available to stream on Tidal, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music.
