Birth control is being debated on a national level, in the government.
Business Insider says that there are still many myths about the medicine. They spoke with gynecologists who talked about the untruths surrounding birth control. The myths include that “You can’t get pregnant if you’re on birth control.” Doctors say that is false. They say no form of birth control is 100 percent effective.
Another myth is that the morning after pill is 100 percent fool proof. Gynecologists say that products like Plan B work by delaying ovulation, but if you have already ovulated, emergency contraception won’t work.
