Start by rubbing a smoothing cream throughout the hair, then create a side part using your fingers – this braid isn’t about precision, it’s about a rocking that casual elegance. Next, starting at the part, french braid one side and secure with a bobby pin. Repeat on the other side.

Now you should have two long french-braids that meet at the back of your neck. Crisscross the braids behind your head and pin. Loop the end of one braid up the opposite side of the head, pinning as you go. Repeat on the other side and tuck the ends of the braids underneath.

Finish by messaging the braids to loosen them up and finish with a light-hold hairspray. Point yourself in the direction of the closest rooftop deck and soak up some summer fun!
