Joining the plethora of streaming services is Quibi—a mobile service that will deliver “bites” of entertainment to subscribers. Shows will be scripted and unscripted, and cover just about every genre. To make a name of themselves in a saturated business, Quibi is calling on celebrities to partner and create their own shows. One such celeb is pop star Joe Jonas.

Jonas’ Quibi short will be a travel series called “Cup of Joe” and will dig deeper into the travel that Jonas gets to do with his bandmates and brothers, Kevin and Nick, and outside of work with wife Sophie Turner. The show will allow viewers the chance to see more of the destinations Jonas travels to, and dig deeper into his high-profile life. Quibi describes the show as a combination of “Joes’ love for travel, photography, and adventure. Before he hits the stage on his sold-out Happiness Begins tour, Joe will experience each city like a true native.”

The show will be an eight-part series and just one of a handful of celebrity-focused shows to stream on Quibi. This new platform is set to go live in April 2020 and will cost subscribers $4.99 a month for all-new shows.
