Ring, ring! Did someone call for washi tape? Our new favorite craft supply is the secret ingredient to a custom phone case that’s out of this world.

To whip up a customized phone case of your own, all you need is:
• Phone case
• Washi tape
• Craft knife

Start by selecting two to three coordinating washi tapes in different widths and patterns that you’d like to use on your phone case. Next, separate the case into the different sections it comes in and use your narrowest washi tape in horizontal stipes across the bottom.

Then, for the top portion of your case, use the wider washi tape in stripes on a 45-degree angle for the remainder of the design.

Finish by using your craft knife to cut out any overlaying tape on the side cut-outs of the case. Insert your phone and enjoy.
