With the holiday season right around the corner it’s definitely wreath-time. There are so many directions you can go in for show-stopping door décor, but a pom-pom wreath might be our favorite. Not only will it last forever, but once you’ve mastered this fun and easy DIY, you can recreate it in any color scheme for a holiday appropriate decoration element.

How To Make a Pom Pom Wreath of Your Own:

Start by wrapping a Styrofoam circle with a solid layer of your main yarn color, tying on new sections as needed and trimming the excess.

Next, it’s pom pom time! Wrap a section of yarn around your hand 10-20 times, then take a smaller piece of yarn and tie it tightly through the middle. Cut the loops on both sides, fluff and trim your pom pom into a sphere. Repeat in every size, color and yarn until you have enough pom poms to completely cover your wreath.

Attach your pom poms by tying though the wreath and trim the excess. Now you’re ready to wreath is up with fun, fluffy décor that can last for years to come.
