Getting away and taking a break for your life’s stress may be the remedy you’re looking for this summer, but that doesn’t mean you need to leave your dog behind. If you’re looking for the perfect place for you and your four-legged best then look no further than the list below.

Austin, TX:
The heat in Texas can get uncomfortable if you’re not familiar to the weather, but the state’s nature scene makes up for it. There are plenty of water activities that your dog will definitely enjoy like Red Bud Isle Park that allows your pup to be leash-free while you explore the trails.

Going out to eat also isn’t just for the humans, but restaurants like Austin Terrier welcomes your furry friend.

Cape Cod, MA:
If you’re not looking to melt in the Texas sun then maybe heading to the east coast is what you’re looking for. Cape Cod is already a popular vacation destination for people and now it can be one for dogs.

While the more popular beaches don’t allow your dog, places like Provincetown do. Provincetown is also the home to Pilgrim Bark Park that is free to use and is separated into two sections depending on your dog’s size.

There are even dog-friendly hotels here. Like, Surfuside Hotel & Suites which allows your dog to be left alone in the room and its private beach.
