Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Is Officially Off The Market

It was a sad weekend for many men and women after news of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson jumping the broom became public. On Sunday, the action star revealed that he and longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian wed in Hawaii.

The 47-year-old actor announced the happy news via Instagram on Monday writing, “We do.” The simple captioned was accompanied by a few photos of the newlyweds celebrating their big day. The actor then added, “August 18, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed) @laurenhashianofficial.”

Hashian, who is the mother of two of Johnson’s children, wore a long gown with lace worth $12,540 for the event and carried a bouquet of white flowers. As for the groom, he looked decided on a white shirt and white pants by Ralph Lauren.

Soon after the social media announcement, several of the couple’s celebrity friends congratulated the dynamic duo in the comments section of Johnson’s post. “Congrats!!” wrote Tom Brady.

The couple met in 2006 while Johnson was still married to ex-wife Dany Garcia, with whom he has a daughter. In 2015, the couple welcomed daughter Jasmine. The couple most recently welcomed their second daughter, Tiana, in 2018.

The marriage surely came as a surprise after the actor revealed he was in no rush to marry Hashian. “I just refer to her as my wife all the time. So a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, did you get married?'” he said. “I’m like, ‘No. Easy. Don’t rush big daddy.'”
