From Brunette to Blonde

Bella Breakdown

I am no stranger to dying my hair. I love a good color change, and am a firm believe that it will somehow change my life… even though it doesn’t, it really just stains my towels. But still! Dying your hair can actually be really therapeutic. One of the biggest hair color leaps is going from a true brunette color to bleach blonde hair. It is also one of the hardest color leaps to make as well. Here are a few tips if you’re going to brunette to blonde.

1. It’s going to take some time. You will probably have to dye your hair a few times to get to the blonde color you want.

2. Remember, if you don’t have virgin hair, the color could come out crazy. If you’ve dyed your hair before, especially somewhat recently, than dying your hair blonde could cause it to come out a little orange. Don’t fret, you’re just going to have to keep dying and toning.

3. It could really dry out your hair. You need to be sure to use a lot of hydrating product after you have gotten your hair to the desired blonde color.

4. If you want to stay blonde you are going to have to keep it up. When your roots grow back they are going to be dark, so if you want to remain blonde, remember that it is a commitment.
