Beef tenderloin
1 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
bell peppers
scallions
salt & pepper

Place 1/4-inch thick pieces of beef tenderloin between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and punch until the beef is an 1/8-inch thick and sharped like a rectangle.

Dip the sliced beef into 1 cup of soy sauce mixed with 1/2-cup brown sugar.

Lay flat and place thin slices of bell pepper and scallion on top. Season with salt and pepper then roll lengthwise and skewer with soaked toothpicks.

Over high heat, grill the beef rolls and brush with sauce and turning until medium-rare, about 2-4 minutes.

Cut each roll in half so there’s one toothpick each and plate with the remaining marinade, reduced, as a delicious dipping sauce.
