He’s Finally Done It, Drake Launched A Champagne Brand

Bella Breakdown

For Drake, also dubbed Champagne Papi, creating his own brand of bubbly was an inevitable next step in the rapper’s empire. If Rihanna can excel at makeup and fashion, Drake can sells Champagne by the gallon. The brand is called Mod Sélection Champagne, and features a Réserve Champagne and Rosé Champagne. Each bottle clocks in somewhere between $300 and $400, meaning partying like Drake will come at a steep cost. The Champagne is produced in Vallée de la Marne in the Champagne region of France, and each bottle is handcrafted and engraved.

The brand was first introduced in the fall of 2018, and has been the focal point of some Champagne Papi parties, including a fabulous New Year’s Eve bash. In order to get your hands on a bottle, you’ll have to seek out Southern Glazer Wine and Spirits, which is based in Miami.

“The product is great, the presentation is great, and hopefully the representation is great, as well,” Drake said, pointing at himself. “I think the full package is there.”

Drake is making a big splash in 2019, between the release of this new brand, a rekindled feud with Kanye West, and a potential, controversial Chris Brown collaboration, all eyes are on Champagne Papi. We’re just hoping we can watch the drama unfold with a glass of Mod Selection in hand.
