H&M’s Newest Collaboration Take Street Wear To A New Level

Bella Breakdown

H&M is known for collaborating with some amazing designers and brands, allowing their customers to access great designs at a more affordable price. This time around, H&M is teaming up with Swedish brand Eytys (pronounced 80s), for a line that’s all about genderless, fuss free designs and wardrobe basics.

“With this collaboration, we hope to introduce the H&M customer to our design philosophy of robust and fuss-free design where function triumphs embellishment and styles span genders,” Max Schiller, creative director at Eytys, explains in a brand statement. “The collection is all about proportions – creating a distinct unisex silhouette by playing around with loose silhouettes and chunky architectural footwear. It’s the Eytys idea of a ‘generic’ look, one that is meant to elevate integrity, attitude and confidence.”

Eytys has been known for its signature canvas deck shoe and other thick rubber sole footwear. With a foray into ready to wear denim and other 90s inspired designs, the brand was looking for a big name to collaborate with. The H&M collection will feature graphic sweaters, snakeskin slides and lots of other slick accessories. This is certainly bound to be one of H&M’s collect projects yet, so make sure you get your favorite pieces before they’re gone.
