Halloween may have come and gone already, but fans of the classic fall festive movie Hocus Pocus are already gearing up for next year following an announcement that the fan-favorite film will be seeing a second-coming on Disney’s new streaming service Disney+. The OG cast of witches—Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy—have all confirmed the reality of the project and have expressed that they are each on board to re-star in the film.

Whether it will be a sequel, prequel, or full re-boot of the original is still uncertain, but these leading ladies seem eager to bring fans a long-awaited Hocus Pocus 2. The reality of the situation, though, is that the original cast of witches just so happens to be some very in-demand ladies in Hollywood.

Whether their schedules and workload will permit them to star in the revitalized version will only be told by time, but I think I speak for everyone in saying we hope some witchy spells can be conjured up to make it happen. The 1993 film was not necessarily a sellout in theatres—in fact, it didn’t do well at all. But like a fine wine, the movie has aged beautifully and become a Halloween go-to for spooky lovers.

“Oh, I hope they get to me before I’m a corpse! Winnie is, of course, one of my favorite characters,” joked 73-year-old Midler when approached by Entertainment Tonight at her annual Halloween party about the reboot. With her shelf of Emmy’s, Tony’s, and Grammy’s, we hope to see Midler take flight one last time, as well.
