How Fast Is Too Fast? Cities With The Most Fast Food Chains

Bella Breakdown

Fast food isn’t the healthiest for you, but chains like McDonald’s, Burger King and Subway definitely come in handy when you’re on a time crunch. While cities like New York and Los Angeles have fewer fast food restaurants than you would expect, here are some of the happiest places to find a happy meal.

Las Vegas, Nevada:
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the same place where many drunken mistakes can happen is in the top 5 of places to pig out on quick service food. With 39 Pizza Huts, 77 McDonald’s, 36 Taco Bells and 122 Subways Sin City blows other cities out of the water with their fast food options.

St. Louis, Missouri:
As home to some of the best barbecue in the country, one would think someone would want to avoid fast food at all cost. However, that is not the case since St. Louis is the fourth in the list of cities with the most fast food chains. Boasting 64 Subways, 35 McDonald’s and 23 Taco Bells, St. Louis has one food chain for every 1,794 residents.

Orlando, Florida:
The prime theme park destination is also the number one spot for anyone looking for a good Whopper. Like Las Vegas, Orlando is home to many themed restaurants that are headed by Iron Chefs, but due to the many tourists, fast food is still the dominating industry. There is one fast food joint for every 1,058 residents making it easy for those enjoying Disney World to stop by one of the 28 Wendy’s locations.
