How To Create An Ombré Lip

Bella Breakdown
So, you’ve ombréd your hair, you’ve ombréd your wardrobe and you’ve ombréd your nails, what’s left? Your luscious lips, that’s what!

This pink ombré lip look is seriously to die and seriously easier than you would think. For a dark to light lip, start with MAC’s Heroine lipstick or any great deep purple and apply it to the outer edge of the lip line. Use the tip of the lipstick as if you were applying lip liner and it’s okay if you get a little bit outside the lip line, you can always clean that up later.

Next, use the NYX Shocking Pink on the inside of your lip for the ombré effect blending where the colors naturally overlap. Reline the outside of the lips with the Heroine lipstick to intensify the ombré. Now, it starts to get fun, apply some Sugarpill loose eyeshadow in Goldilux to the center of the lips using a flat brush to add a little bit more dimension.

Finally, clean up your lip line with foundation or concealer, it’s a really easy fix for any mistakes and is a great technique for doing a red lip or any bold lipstick.

With that, you’re ombré lip is complete!
