How to Make Halloween Mummy Dogs

Looking for a spooky snack to celebrate the season with? Give these mummy dogs a try! Wrapped with ribbons of pastry crust, these hot dogs are easy to make and fun to eat.

All you need to cook up a batch of your own walking dead dogs are:

• 1 can Breadstick Dough
• Cooking Spray
• Hot Dogs
• Edible Eyeball Candy

Start by unwrapping your can of breadstick dough on a cutting board, and then use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips. You can make them as narrow or wide as you’d like depending on how you want your mummies to look.

Next coat a baking sheet with a layer of cooking spray so your mummies don’t stick to the pan. Now the fun part, wrap your hot dog with the dough strips. Spray the tops of your dogs with another coat of cooking spray and pop them an oven preheated to 400 for 15 minutes.

For a fun finishing touch, use one set of edible eyeball candy per mummy to show the spooky eyes peaking out from the delicious, golden brown wrap. Enjoy!
