Bella Breakdown
Pink Meringues are the sweetest way to support breast cancer patients and research… plus, they taste like cotton candy.
Recipe
2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. granulated sugar
4 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. raspberry extract
5 drops pink food coloring
To make, combine powdered sugar and sugar in a bowl. Set aside. In a mixer, beat egg whites until light and fluffy.
Then, while the mixer is still running, slowly add salt, cream of tartar, sugar mixture, raspberry extract, and pink food coloring.
Put mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star tip, and pipe ribbon shapes onto a cookie sheet.
Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Turn off the oven and let sit for 3 hours.
