Because this form of exercise has your heart rate at a very high rate, and you’re also building muscle, you are far more likely to burn the optimal amount of calories. Who doesn’t want that? It is really tough to do though, so be prepared for the fact that you might not be able to make it through all of your rounds of H.I.I.T training circuits.
If you keep practicing at it, though, high intensity interval training is a great way to get into shape. Not to mention, if you have a busy schedule, it’s a great way to fit in a workout where you really feel like you’ve gotten something done.
