Keep Your Dog Safe And Sound During Road Trips

Bella Breakdown

With summer near the perfect time to plan a road trip is now. However, if you’re worried about whether or not your furry four-legged friend will be able to behave in the care you no longer have to. If you follow these simple tips, you will have a stress-free trip and a happy dog too.

Keeping your dog on a schedule is very important. There’s nothing better for a dog than a consistent routine, but that can be hard when you’re traveling. So it’s best if you maintain a normal feeding, walk and medication time as best you can while on the road.

When it is time for you to walk your pup, bring both a long and short leash. Different states and cities have different leash laws, so make sure you know what you can and can’t do before your trip. However, if you find a dog park along your route let your dog explore the new area as much as possible.

If it’s just you and your dog on the road it might get a little lonely in the front. Still, keep your furry friend in the back where it will have more room to move around. Not only can your dog get comfortable, but it keeps them safe and you from getting distracted.
