Well, fans may have been a bit let down if they expected something really big. Kendall Jenner’s new campaign with Proactiv was aired for the first time Sunday night, and was the start of a conversation around “skin positivity.”
Kendall revealed that she had suffered from acne for years, and received a lot of criticism from the media. “I remember going online and seeing all the horrible things people were saying about me and my skin,” she recalled. “Where it really impacted me was how self conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem.”
The campaign has sparked a lot of controversy among fans, and it appears that maybe the announcement was a bit over-hyped. However, most people agree that it is refreshing to see the star open up about her insecurities, especially when her focus has largely been on makeup, beauty and modeling.
