Leaning into different priorities in life, mother of three Kourtney Kardashian has announced she will be taking time away from her family’s hit reality tv series to dedicate more time to the needs of her family.
Though she assures fans this isn’t goodbye, season 18 (which is currently being filmed) of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will have to hold its own without the sassy comebacks and health-minded knowledge that often comes from Kourtney. While the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner gang is no stranger to spotlight and attention, Kourtney’s opposing point of view on many (I mean MANY) topics regarding kids, family, fashion, work, business, and health will definitely leave an empty time slot once occupied by good old fashioned sisterly bickering.
As much of her confessionals and time on the show indicated, Kourtney’s role as a mother is the most important in her life. Her children—sons Mason and Reign and daughter Penelope, aged nine, four, and seven respectively—hold more value than time on E! network. Momma Kourt has received hefty backlash in the past for oversharing content with her kids and seems to put less time into working than her sisters, to which Kourtney has proudly reminded everyone of her media brand, Poosh, of which she is the founder of.
The company produces lifestyle and wellness content applicable to women in the modern world and launches products used by Kourt herself. Aside from running this business, she takes the opportunity from haters to express her intentionality in focusing more on motherhood and less on business for this season of life.
