Lili Reinhart Pregnancy Rumors Arise

Apparently, Riverdale isn’t the only town that’s heating up with sexy rumors.

Costars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse of the CW’s hit twist on the original Archie comics announced at the Met Gala that they were, in fact, officially dating.

But, just like in the show, it didn’t take long for those words to be twisted into gossip that just couldn’t be contained.

After a… confusing tweet from Sprouse saying “I can’t wait to be a mommy someday,” and a bunch of rowdy, over-speculating fans saw Reinhart walk the CW carpet while looking “bloated”, rumors of her pregnancy began flying.

It only took a few days for the actress to shut these rumors down once and for all, adding an inspirational note on body positivity all the while.

Reinhart took to Instagram to state that “This is just my body. And sometimes I’m bloated. Sometimes an unflattering photo is taken of me. Sometimes I go through periods of time where I gain weight. My body is something I will NEVER apologize for.”

Way to go, Betty… I mean… Lili.

Aren’t women ridiculed enough about their looks, especially when it comes to body image? Let’s all give the Riverdale superstar a break, because we should all be focusing on her stellar performance in the show and her blooming relationship with Cole Sprouse instead.
