‘Mid 90s’ Jonah Hill’s Directorial Debut

Jonah Hill is no longer the goofy, chubby, funny guy. He has really solidified himself as a bonafide actor. He has been nominated for major acting awards, and has joined the ranks of some seriously impressive a-list actors and actresses. If that weren’t enough, Jonah Hill has just made his directorial debut with the film, ‘Mid 90s’. If you haven’t seen the trailer already, go watch it. It will give you some serious nostalgia.

The film is set, well obviously, in the Mid 90s in Los Angeles, California. It centers around youth skateboard culture, and really follows the story of some young kids who are just trying to find some purpose in a time when they feel mistreated and unimportant.

Jonah Hill shines as he directs some very young, talented actors who just seem to admire him and his work. Jonah cast the unknowns as his leads, and their characters seem to jump off of the screen, and allow viewers to dive into a film that feels so real and just so relatable. With the backdrop of a dusty LA, and an amazing soundtrack, Jonah Hill has created a major hit. Hill will not only impress his existing fans, but definitely snag some new ones on the way.
