From rose gold to bright red, hair color trends come and go. The latest look is a big hit among the stars, with celebrities everywhere turning out in pastel pink hair. Would you try the look?

For those that are hesitant to try a bold hair color, this might be the look for you. The subtle, light color gives just the right tinge of pink, without being too bright. Another option is to go with highlights, blending the soft pink hue into your natural hair color.

Kylie Jenner debuted her soft pink hair earlier this fall, and it made a big splash among her fans. Her stylist, Chris Appleton, went for a unicorn-inspired look. “It was a collaboration,” Appleton told Refinery29 in an interview.

“We were speaking about different colors and decided to go with a frosted pink, with more of a candy tint to it. The great thing about going blonde is that you can easily add a sparkle of color to change it up. I love this shade of pink we did because it’s warm on the skin, but more importantly, this shade is super frosted, soft and versatile.”

This look is perfect for girls with light hair, but if you’ve got dark hued locks, you may have to do a bit more work to achieve Kylie’s look. If you want to test it out, try a temporary dye or spray, like Live Colour’s Spray in Candy Pink.
