Starbucks Holiday Drinks From Around The World

Bella Breakdown

The holiday season brings with it all sorts of tasty treats. Pumpkin spice lattes, gingerbread, peppermint bark, anything your sweet tooth could ever desire. Starbucks’ holiday releases are some of the most anticipated indulgences, and people all over the world can try these limited edition drinks. Here in the United States, we have our own menu of flavored beverages, including cinnamon dulce, white chocolate peppermint and more. But what are people on the other side of the globe ordering at our favorite coffee shop?

China – Baked Cheese Latte
This combination may sound unusual to westerners, but it’s a popular treat in China. Baked cheese flavored sauce is combined with milk and espresso, then topped with whipped cream, blueberry flavored sprinkles and star-shaped crisps.

Latin America – Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha
Head down south for this tart variation on the holiday classic. White mocha syrup, espresso, and milk form the base, and a drizzle of cranberry syrup and cranberry sugar give a fruity finish.

Europe, Middle East, Africa – Salted Caramel Brownie Hot Chocolate
This is truly dessert in a cup. Mocha and caramel sauces are swirled into hot milk, then the whole thing is finished off with salted caramel brownie whipped cream, brownie crumbles and caramel brittle.

Argentina and Uruguay – Hazelnut Mocha
This drink is a big hit in South America, with hazelnut and bittersweet chocolate sauces infusing a rich latte. The whole thing is finished off with a mocha drizzle and can be served hot or as a Frappuccino.

Canada – Juniper Latte
Some of you may have been able to taste this unique creation when it was served in limited stores in the U.S. It then went national in Canada and is truly like a Christmas tree in a cup. The unique berry has a tart spice that goes so well in a rich latte.
