With more people leaning into CBD-type products, drinks infused with beneficial herbs are on track to become even more popular this year. Veganism is becoming so mainstream fast food chains like Burger King and KFC are already implementing “faux meat” into their menus.
Tahini desserts have shown that it’s the new craze with some people preferring it over peanut butter. More than just an ingredient in hummus, tahini can be used in ice cream bars, milkshakes, and banana muffins.
While there are foods that are becoming more popular this year, Uber Eats says that the once popular cold brew, acai, Brussel sprouts, and “Unicorn” foods are out. Insider also notes that foods that are losing popularity include; avocado toast, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and pickle-flavored foods are losing their steam.
