Bella Breakdown

From everyday gadgets to apps and the most popular social network, it’s safe to say that the 2010s were anything but boring. If someone told you 15 years ago that the world would be running on apps, no one would believe it. Yet, here we are, and it’s exciting even to think about what will come next.

Social Network for All Ages

Instagram is the fastest growing social media network. Facebook still has more users, but after almost 20 years since Instagram was first introduced to the public, this network is always “In.” What started as photos of people sharing their meals with filters turned into business deals worth billions. Instagram created some new jobs, like being an Influencer. It may sound strange, but it is very real.

The Rise of Streaming Services

Before, it was just Netflix and Chill, but this decade gave us so much more. And yes, there will be at least two new streaming services in 2020, so it’s safe to say that watching TV will never be the same. You can watch any show or movie, wherever you are, at any time you want. And you don’t even need a TV; you can watch anything on your phone. Imagine if someone told you that back in 2000?

AirPods

When we talk about achievements in technology, we cannot escape digital assistants, Siri, and Alexa. And if you have AirPods, you know you can talk to Siri at any time. That’s why even though they look just like the old EarPods these Bluetooth earbuds are one of the best things from the 2010s.

Apps for Any Problem

Welcome to the age of apps. There are apps to resize and airbrush your photos. Others offer cooking recipes, and there are ones that will motivate your workout. Since we are living fast, we need some peace and quiet, and yes, many apps will help you relax. The other will allow you to feed your pet or put your clothes on the drying program. No one bothers going out to meet the other half; people use apps for that.

There are many exceptional sides of advanced technology and living in the Internet era. But, the downside is that we are losing the human touch, and we are getting used to pressing buttons instead of using our emotions. It’s important to know technology, as it should help us with everyday life. However, kids should spend more time playing outside and reading proper books. They need to socialize correctly, at least, until robots take over the world.
