The Most Genius, Noncommittal Way to Color Your Hair

We all sometimes look at the fun new hair colors in-style longingly, but don’t envy the hair damage that soon follows and sticks around for a year or two.

That why we love this method of doing temporary hair color at home with makeup!

Start by sectioning the hair, go half an inch below your natural part so that some of your hair covers the color when it’s done and blend in.

Clip up and away, then take your next section apply hairspray to work as a base for the pigment to grab onto, apply the pigment with a makeup brush from the roots to the ends.

Take a hair dryer and dry that pigment in place then do another layer, so more hairspray and another layer of pigment. Repeat on the other side and comb through so your natural hair texture returns.

We love this as an easy way to try out a hair color before you commit to it or have a fun night out on the town with some crazy cool party hair!
