The Obamas Are Bringing A Kids’ Cooking Show To Netflix

Bella Breakdown

Barack and Michelle Obama are no longer making decisions for the whole country, but thanks to Netflix they’ll soon be entertaining the masses. After Hulu announced that they’ll be teaming up with Chrissy Teigen for a cooking show, competitive giant Netflix upped the ante with a show of their own. And produced by the Obamas.

Called ‘Listen to Your Vegetables and Eat Your Parents,’ was created by Comedy Central’s ‘Drunk History’ Jeremy Konner and Erika Thormahlen. The half-hour episodes will “take young children and their families around the globe on an adventure that tells us the story of our food.”

Not much is known about whether the show will be animated, feature celebrities or include the Obamas themselves. However, fans don’t have to worry if Barack and Michelle do decide to stop by. Before the late TV personality Anthony Bourdain passed, Barack was featured on Bourdain’s ‘Parts Unknown.” Michelle also proved that she too can become a viral sensation with her “Turnip for What” video. Her appearance on ‘Sesame Street’ wasn’t too bad either.

The Netflix series isn’t too surprising for the former first lady whose big initiative while in the White House was to make school lunches healthier for students.
