The Perfect Braided Look to Beat Spring Showers

We just love this easy, casual look that’s a fun take on a braided updo. This is the perfect go-to style when those spring showers are clouding your day. Give yourself a fresh attitude and hairstyle that won’t wilt when it gets wet with this easy plaited look.

Start by sectioning off the middle part of the hair and clip up on top out of the way. Then you want to take the rest of your hair and clip it at the nape of your neck. Take down that top section and divide into two down the middle of your head and clip off one side.

Next take half of your middle section and just do a standard french braid and continue plaiting until you reach the end of your hair and secure with an elastic. Repeat on the other side of your center section and secure with an elastic.

To finish the look, pin the side and lower sections of hair up into a messy bun and pin in place with the braided piece. Once you’re happy with your look and have the bun secured in place, apply a liberal amount of hairspray.
