The Ultimate De-Stressor
Bella Breakdown
Yogi’s use victorious breath to ground and center at the beginning of class and to get through more challenging poses.
While you may not be trying to tackle eagle pose first thing in the morning, this can help prepare you for a challenging day, or help de-stress you after a long time at work.
You can practice victorious breath in 7 simple steps:
Step 1: Find a comfortable seat
step 2 : Hands on your thighs
step 3 : Head high and relax your shoulders
step 4 : Close your eyes
step 5 : Inhale and exhale deeply
step 6 : Count to four each inhale and exhale
step 7 : Do this three times
After moving through this series of motion, bring your hands to heart center, and cast your third eye – that space between your eyebrows – down to your thumbs and take a moment to become centered in the now and be thankful for everything you have. Namaste.
