‘The Voice’ Announces Winner

Bella Breakdown

The Voice announced that Brynn Cartelli, a 15 year-old high school freshman from Massachusetts, has been crowned the winner of season 14. She is youngest victor to date. She was mentored by judge Kelly Clarkson who joined the show just this season. Along with the crown, Cartelli will receive $100,000  plus a recording contract with Universal Music Group. A common criticism of the show is that they have yet to produce a true superstar such as other shows like American Idol who produced artists like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. But critics and Clarkson are confident that Cartelli could be a game changer. Her finale song is an original that already sounds like a 2018 summer hit!
