Things just continue to go downhill for Tyson Foods, Inc. After recalling the company’s chicken nuggets earlier this year and then 70,000 pounds of chicken strips in March, they have now expanded that recall to 12 million pounds of strips.

The announcement was made on Friday after the company discovered metal pieces in the chicken. “The problem was discovered when the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) received two consumer complaints of extraneous material in the chicken strip products,” U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) wrote in a statement.

It’s not just the Tyson brand that has been affected, but Walmart’s Great Value brand, Aldi’s Kirkwood brand, and Meijer have all been included in the recall. “Consumers expect that the food they eat is safe… It is unacceptable to Tyson Foods that any product might not meet our standards,” said Barbara Masters, VP of regulatory food policy, food and agriculture for Tyson Foods said in a news release.

The USDA has urged anyone who has purchased flavors: Crispy Chicken Strips, Buffalo Style Chicken Strips and Honey BBQ Flavored Chicken Strips with a “Use By Date” of October 1, 2019 through March 7, 2020 to throw them away. Returning the food items back to the store of purchase is also an option. Masters has stated that the equipment believed to have been used to make the recalled foods have been discontinued.
