The ‘Luxury’ Wish-List Every Mother Would Love Fulfilled!

**Cue the sarcasm**

Forget the Pandora charms, cliche cards and bouquets of flowers, here’s what mom really wants this year for Mother’s Day. Annnnd the best part about this list is that all most of these ‘gifts’ require is a little time instead of money!

#1 – 8 Hours of Uninterrupted Sleep

mothersday2
This one is probably on every mother’s list of “things I wish I did on the regular”. But I think we’d settle for this uninterrupted sleep thing at least one day of the year, so let her sleep!

#2 – A Non-Rushed Makeup Session

mothersday3
It’s hard to have a proper makeup application session when you’re trying to feed kids, get them dressed, and make sure they look their best. We’re not asking for a total glam session but if we could just do our eyeliner and mascara without nearly gouging out an eye due to being turned into a human jungle gym that’d be greaaaat.

#3 – Totally Empty Laundry Baskets

mothersday4
No, we don’t want the laundry hidden in random places for us to find, we want it done, in it’s entirety. We’re talking everything, including those last little random items that never seem to make it to the washing machine.

#4 – Stain-Repellent Kids Clothing

mothersday5
Ok, so this item does not actually exist yet, but here’s hopin’. Wouldn’t it be great if stains just rolled right off the kids clothing so that the next time they beg you for that bright blue ice cream you can watch them eat it and not monitor every drip like a barista making an espresso.

#5 – A Manicure That Lasts Longer Than 2 Days

mothersday6
The look and feel of freshly painted and primped nails is glorious. However that feeling rarely lasts for more than 2 days for a busy mom on the go, even if you opt for gels, you’d be surprised how quickly life with kids can ruin a manicure. Hence why this last item made it onto our wishlist, not only do we love manicures be we’d also love it if they would just last for a week at least!
