Tabata is a workout routine where you get the most intense, awesome workout in a span four minutes, combined here with rest periods in calming, muscle stretching yoga poses.

It’s twenty seconds on then ten seconds rest.

The first thing you’ll do it go from plank to forearm one arm at a time and then to rest go into a thread-the-needle yoga pose laying one ear on the mat, reaching out with one arm and over with the other and then you go back into plank to forearm for twenty seconds and thread-the-needle on the other side.

For your second active period you’ll do some thigh-taps. Starting in downward dog, lift one leg back, bend the knee then tap right thigh to right shoulder and right thigh to left shoulder. A rest period in pigeon bringing the active leg across the front of your mat then another active period using the other leg.

Have fun with it and expect to sweat!
