The July 2017 smash comedy, “Girls Trip”, is getting a sequel and we could not be more excited. This was the film that put ensemble comedies back on the map, rivaling classics like “The Hangover.”

We also got to witness a cast of insanely hilarious, black women as opposed to the usual boys club. “Girls Trip” also gave us one of the most charming, and lovable actresses to date: Tiffany Haddish. Tiffany blew up the press circuit last year, and had us on Groupon after that amazing story she told on Jimmy Kimmel, of taking co-star Jada Pinkett-Smith and husband, Will, on a Groupon swamp tour.

In addition to long time funny-women Queen Latifah, and Regina Hall, “Girls Trip” was a smash hit. We hadn’t experienced a really great comedy like this one in a long time. The R-rated film was raunchy, smart, and laugh-out-loud funny.

We absolutely cannot wait for a sequel. The first one was set in New Orleans, Louisiana and we’re hoping the second will be set somewhere just as awesome. We might be over the Las Vegas cliche. Fingers crossed for Miami. Either way, wherever the women go, this film isn’t likely to disappoint.

The first film smashed the Box Office, and the sequel is likely to do the same. You can’t deny the chemistry these women have, and they’re just as excited to participate in a sequel as we are to watch one.
