Be Careful If You Use This Beauty Brand’s Lash Boost Serum

Bella Breakdown

If you have a Facebook account, you have probably heard of or seen this beauty product before. Rodan + Fields is getting in trouble over their lash boost serum, as people have come forward to report problems after using the product. The number one brand is now being sued over the problematic ingredient that has caused pain, swelling, burning and crusting after application.

The brand is most popular on Facebook, as you can become a representative for the company and sell it. Just like Herbalife, Mary Kay, and other companies that hire people to self-promote the product and sell it to others. But Rodan + Fields is a much larger company than any other like it, and it was just named the biggest provider for skincare products in the U.S. for the second year in a row. The company is now facing a potential class-action lawsuit over their Lash Boost eyelash serum.

The plaintiffs are arguing that the company withheld information about potential adverse reactions to isopropyl cloprostenate. A representative from Rodan + Fields responded to the potential lawsuit by saying, “as with any cosmetic, lash boost may cause irritation in some users, especially if it is misused.”
