A lot of celebrities have other passions or even careers. But these celebrities had a very unique job position before or during their successful celebrity careers. These superstars were spies and used their high profile to stay under the radar. Here are the stars that worked for some sort of intelligence agencies one way or another.

First up, we have Frank Sinatra. The jazz artist has ties with the Mafia and allegedly acted as a smuggler for the CIA.

John Steinback is next up. The Of Mice And Men author wasn’t just writing groundbreaking books while he was in the Mediterranean, he was also spying on communists for the CIA.

The English actor, Christoper Lee. The Lord of the Rings star conducted espionage activities during WWII for Britain.

The infamous Coco Chanel. French fashion designer Coco Chanel had a Nazi boyfriend who she went around Europe with recruiting people for the “cause.”

Mr. Walt Disney. The creator of Minnie and Mickey Mouse also collected information about communists in Hollywood and reported them to the FBI.
