All you need is:

Fringe Cutter
Scissors
Tissue Paper

Start by folding a sheet of your tissue paper in half longways, then fold in half again. Unfold and cut on the crease you just made.

Place your two halves on top of each other, then place the folded edges at the top of the fringe cutter. Press down on the blade and pull towards the end of the tissue paper. Move paper over to cut the next section.

(If you don’t have a fringe cutter, you can use scissors to cut equally sized strands… but we’re pretty sure that you become a better person the instant you own a fringe cutter, or at least that’s the excuse we’re telling ourselves to get one.)

Open the folded sheet so that the fringe is on both sides then roll carefully, straightening the fringe on both sides as you go.

Twist the middle to create a rope and fold the tassel in half. Fold over several times to secure by crossing the two sides. Go to town! : )
