DIY Phone Mount & Speedy Charging Hack

It’s happened to us all, the battery is red, you okayed out of the 20% warning, ignored the 10% warning and now you’re lifeline is about to die! Speed up your charging with this simple trick.

First connect your charger to the wall outlet, then select the airplane mode. This will turn off all data and cellular activity on your phone and stop it from draining while it’s charging.

Now that you’re all powered up, time to use your GPS and hit the road, but you want to go hands free.

Don’t go buy one of those expensive car phone mounts, all you really need is a rubber band. Just loop the rubber band through the air conditioning vent by the middle console one and slide your phone through the loop!

If the rubber band isn’t tight enough, try looping it through the AC vent one more time then around the phone a few times. We recommend doing this while it’s in the case, and definitely don’t try this hack if you’re driving a convertible. Happy driving, stay charged and buckle up ; )
