New research has been presented and apparently being frugal is considered attractive or even sexy. About 92 percent of Americans consider ‘frugal’ an attractive quality of a partner or even a potential partner. A whopping 79 percent think that using a coupon on the first date is totally acceptable. 30 is the average age that people start getting monetarily responsible and take their finances seriously. Thinking about bragging about your last paycheck? Don’t. One in four Americans find bragging about your finances is a huge turnoff.

Here are the five biggest first date turn-offs. Poor hygiene, having bad manners, being on the phone, getting drunk, and bragging about their money. If you do any of these things, I suggest that you stop or you may never get past the first date!
