Justin Bieber’s engagement to Hailey Baldwin has been the talk of the town, and like most Hollywood romances, it’s been a whirlwind relationship. The two met in 2009, and had many on-again-off-again flings, finally reuniting in late 2016 to confirm their relationship. In July of this year, the couple got engaged, and Bieber fans everywhere had to abandon their dreams of a Cinderella story romance.

Throughout the past several months, the couple has exhibited their love for each other through sugary sweet PDA and passionate interviews. It’s no surprise that the two would be eager to get this marriage thing going, and just this week, Bieber officially confirmed they are indeed husband and wife. A private, civil ceremony took place officially binding the two lovebirds in marriage. They have mentioned plans to have a larger celebration for family and friends next year.

Baldwin, who has just turned 22, has shown passion and loyalty towards her new husband, but some suspect there could be trouble in paradise. Sources close to the celebrities have reported issues behind the scenes, largely on Bieber’s part.

“I wouldn’t say he’s unhappy, but he’s unsettled. He is in love with Hailey and he’s very happy about that. He knows he has achieved so much at a very young age,” a source told People. “But I’ve seen this before, he’s left with the feeling of ‘is this all there is?'”
Lingering feelings for ex, Selena Gomez, career pressures and restlessness may all contribute to a bumpy start for the new husband.

For now, the couple seems to be enjoying married life in blissful contentment, but we can only hope that any lingering issues are worked out over the course of their relationship.
