Everyone knows Taylor Swift as a fun and charismatic artist who often has lots of emotions but also doesn’t take herself too seriously. But in the midst of the controversies and drama (for lack of a better term) surrounding her rise to greatness, there is a little known darker side to Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift has come along way from a country girl who spent her time crying on her guitar in 2004. Since then, Taylor Swift has won over 337 awards for her music and has been nominated for an award over 700 times.

A few of her accomplishments include ten Grammy Awards with over 25 million albums sold worldwide. But with all the glitz and glamour comes a dark side that many people do not know about. In fact, there was a time where she actually wanted to quit music.

According to a recent interview with Rolling Stones Magazine, Taylor Swift admits that she struggled with the music industry and that they have affected her to the point of wanting to quit the biz. “People had so much fun hating me, and they didn’t really need very many reasons to do it. I felt like the whole situation was pretty hopeless.” Swift told Rolling Stones Magazine.
